To: stockman_scott who wrote (12433 ) 2/1/2003 7:06:46 PM From: Jim Willie CB Respond to of 89467 Noland is righton righton our country has set out the wrong priorities for reflating anything focused on consumption will be temporary and ineffective this is the course we are on, with political push of numbnut liberals in Congress "dont give it to the rich", who will invest in jobs (at the right time) "instead give it to the poor and middle class", who need it to pay bills and continue spending therein lies the rub politics dictate that we go down the fuching tubes we in the USA have the most inept collection of economic advisors and policy makers in the entire world when this is all over, we will blame external forces personally, I have come to despite detest and hate our leadership not our country, our leaders and policy makers I refer to Democrats, Republicans, Congressmen, Fed Governors, Judges, Military Generals, Newspaper Editors, Television Managers, Corporate CEO/CFO's the myriad masses are just too many to take care of they are utter sheep heading for slaughter I am beginning not to care anymore they ignore danger signals, warning signposts they deny deny deny all the harsh realities JUST LET DARWINIAN FORCES DO WHAT THEY DO BEST I will survive, as will those who follow gold (real money) I had an interesting conversation with my 87 yrold mother she wondered why "I am totally focused on gold now" I asked her back in the 1920's if people in Ireland owned gold money, or whether they their entire life savings invested in British govt bonds she said they had gold and silver money so I asked why "she is so totally focused on paper money now" she and my father have their entire life savings invested in CD's, bond funds, and other paper securities she had no answer / jim
