Price Phase for SPX stockcharts.com[w,a]daclnnay[p][iLe12,49,1!La12,25,9]&pref=G essentially the same as the 12/49/1 MACD. The Phase Change signals UP occurs if the two previous values were decreasing and today's price phase value is grater than yesterday's. The opposite condition for DOWN. Here's a brief explanation in the manual.
