Three days ago 4 soldiers died in a Blackhawk helicopter crash while defending freedom. None of the networks broke in to report it.

Soliers know the risks.

Shuttle occupants know the risks.

The media is unfair. Why is that? Why is it barely news worthy when soldiers die? Why is that?

One heat shield tile breaks off and they all start to go. Incredible heat at 12,500 MPH.

Terrorists? Not.

A moment of silence not only for the astronauts but for their families which are grieving greatly now, as are the USA and Israel nations. jdn

Yup. It is a sad thing, but, hopefully only for us. I don't say this callously, but those guys were pros who understood they were not going out for an evening stroll in the park. Indeed, even an evening stroll in the park can cost you your life these days. I think it is just best to be ready to die at any moment, regardless of whether one is an astronaut.
