I was looking for stocks under 1 billion mkt cap who aren't a me-too player in some niche, and I came up with macr and hysl. All the business software areas which include supply chain and CRM and all the derivations seem to be in direct line of fire with the big ERPs. Macr and hysl have a nichey thing that really isn't seeing too much competition from anybody, their real issues are the overall it climate. You could say dreamweaver (macr) is going to get hit with msft, but I don't think so right now.... anything can change though we'll have to see how this year plays out. Adobe is also very strong but the day I looked macr and hysl were stronger from a technical perspective. INTU I ruled out just because he has a high mkt cap but another strong player there.
