That is stupidity to the nth degree. At a time of great emotional impact Saddam could come forth with an I'm sorry for your loss opening the gates for more cooperation in finding and destroying his WND and start shifting to helping his people, and maybe staying in power.

Now his one big weapon, US killing Iraqi civilians, like who cares?
