<<And the damage caused by them is virtually nil.>>

Snowmobiles? Maybe if they're used where they should be.

When I moved out here I bought and planted 300 pine trees. Watered those trees all summer. Winter came and the city folks came out and rode the damn things through my yard and killed all my seedlings. The next year I planted 300 more plus a magnolia. They flattened the Magnolia and all but 6 pines. I tried to wave them down to take a different path and they ran me down. Then they almost ran me down as I was going for my mail.

They next year I vowed to shoot a rider in the face at close range in self defense and it didn't snow. Didn't snow the next year and they sold the sleds.

Certainly several orders of magnitude less than all the cars that come through all summer. Maybe you'd like to ban them too?

What about all the bears and mooses and buffalo?? They're belching and farting mass quantities of methane into the atmosphere, thereby contributing to global warming. Better shoot those polluters!! :)

Glad to see some common sense coming back into some of these Federal agencies. Snowmobiles are a wonderful way for folks to get back into the wilderness. Once they've experienced it they can better appreciate the need to preserve it.

Sorry, but I think these are the same people who burp at the dinner table.

And the damage caused by them is virtually nil.

You think the noise from a high powered lawn mower does the animals a lot of good? If so, think again!

No, but I would like to ban you. How's that make your day?
