Has any president in modern times faced more MAJOR crises in a shorter period of time? - Downed plane in China - Economic Downturn - The most obstructionist opposition party in modern times - Impending War With Iraq* - 9/11 - Afghanistan War - North Korea misbehaving - Now, a shuttle crash * Impending war with Iraq was clearly a possibility before his election, as he recognized the importance of getting control of Iraqi arms proliferation. Like him or not, he has had to deal with more "stuff" than has any president I can think of.

Ted Re...While its great that Poland and the Czech Republic et al support us, they're the cheerleaders, not the player According to who. You. The Czech republis is already helping in Aghanistan; are either France or Germany. Yes, Germany and France are helping with Afghanistan. However, my point was that a Czech contribution would probably miniscule if at all. As it turns out, their contribution is a very small $35 million and even that, the Czech parliament does not want to pay it: radio.cz Secondly, whether the right recognizes it or not, this is a very controversial move on the part of the US. How so? We didn't have either Germany's or Frances approval before we got into WWII; and France refused to approve the Gulf war, until the last minute. What is so different here. Because you said so. Right! You play dumb really well. Had lots of practice? <g> Could be........but I think you underestimate the world wide opposition to this war. Most people in Europe back the war if the UN does.
