Bob, I'm very fond of PDC - I've owned them on & off since they were STXD - South Texas Exploration & Drilling. I've got a very small position now, but I'm watching for more.... NGS I've never heard of until today. Gas compression has been a rotten business to be in over the last year or so, particularly a few months ago as we were heading toward full storage. But, I expect that will change over the next year as we struggle to get gas delivery back up. Their PE and PSR don't seem too bad. Their debt to equity at 1.95 seems outrageous in this debt-intolerant market. Did these guys just do an IPO, or get spun off? If it was an IPO they sure didn't retain any cash in the company - usually a tip off that management has lined their pockets and are moving on. Sharp
