Name one good program Democrats "obstructed".

The first incident of obstruction was when Al Gore tried to steal the election in Florida. This was a blatant attempt at election theft and almost succeeded.

Perhaps the WORST incident obstructionism SINCE the election (previously discussed here ad nauseum) is the Senate Democrats "borking" of judicial appointments. These are horrendous attempts by the liberals to unilaterally evade the constitutional intent of the Founding Fathers. Sickening. But typical of Democrats. (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=29244)

But it really is only the tip of the iceberg. They tried to obstruct the president's tax proposal, but failed. Interestingly, today, they are proposing essentially the same thing that was in that proposal -- a $300/600 rebate to working families.

The Democrats held up passage of a budget, on political grounds, leaving the government to function on CRs, I think, for the longest time in recent history -- perhaps in history period. Obstructionism.

More recently, the Democrats tried to rewrite the rules for committee budgets (the organizing resolution), obstructing the process of getting the new committees off the ground. (http://www.rnc.org/Newsroom/RNCResearch/research011503.htm)

The list could go on ad infinitem.
