You see, you say "obstructionists" but cant even come up with one good example. Extremists judges will always be attacked by the mainstream. and they should be, or else we'll start having wacky laws and denying people their rights. Would you want Cynthia McKinney as a judge? Or David Duke? wake up. The middle is where righteous compromise and functional democracy is in this country not the fringes. right or left. And after the Trent Lott odeal can you really say the GOP needs a Judge Pickering in? He's cut from the same cloth as Lott. At least for appearances sake he ought to be scuttled.
