Well Steve, time will tell, as you say:) No more Jeff for you.
but looking at your NDX charts look how the long the overbought lasted before this oversold.
Plus, i admit i am not a fan of BB as have found they have a way of rapidly expanding the bands to accomodate a change.
For instance per your 4th chart the BB should have bounced on 1/23 but the formula allows it to quickly change the Band width and when you back check on a 1,2,3 etc. year chart it looks like it is making perfect predictions, like it is the perfect system, but it is not if one checks it out day by day.
Regards SPX chart going back to early 2001 i will play devil's advocate here by saying at that time we were bouncing off a brand new 2.5 year low and Fed was making one rate cut after another as i vaguely remember and goosing the market(may be wrong). We will see.Max
