I don't have a strong opinion regarding the current discussion between Ron and Jim about the content of Jim's posts other than to praise Ron for fairly raising his issue and to praise Jim for fairly responding to it. However, I do have a strong opinion about the following alternative: the simple solution is [for Ron] to use the SI IGNORE feature and save the thread of reading [his] constant discourse regarding [Jim's] posts. I believe all of us potentially gain from a balanced view of the posts we write. If each of us chooses that suggestion when we find ourselves in a position of disagreement, the thread will be cheated of potentially valuable ideas and not saved of anything. Contrary opinions to this and all of my posts (few as they are) are welcome. I won't be suggesting that you should put me on "ignore" if you disagree with me or typically don't like the content of my posts. --Mike Buckley
