Rascal, helicopters and jets have been around for decades and we still have young men and women getting killed in accidents on a routine basis while protecting our nation.

We are not safe. The level of safety we are accustomed to is made possible by tremendous sacrifices by young men and women. These young people are dying routinely to protect the freedoms we enjoy here and many often fail to realize that there are sacrifices to be made for freedom on a regular basis. Invading Iraq is no different, get used to it.

When people worry about the price of action, they never seem to be concerned with the price of inaction. I say that the failure to act today will cause more sacrifices to be made in the not to distant future.

Afghanistan, Iraq and then we extend the conflict to Iran and Saudia Arabia in one form or another. We are either going to be proactive in this struggle which is not going to go away or our world as we know it is going to be terminated in the reactive mode.

We either set in motion events that will bring the Islamic world out of its 1,000 year stupor or our children and grandchildren will be delivered a world infinitely more dangerous than today's.

Those hundreds of millions of young Arab Muslims are either going to be able to earn and hope for a better life in their countries or they will be sure to destroy ours.

I hope that all the people who are just exercising their right to question our foreign policy are 100% behind the troops when the war starts.
