applying the onetime charges that the tech sector had to endure to write off the bubble last year is a red herring. Thats what the bears do on those trading threads whenever the mkt goes against them... they come out with "average nas P/E" figures based on all the writeoffs that occurred last year as well as unvested option expensing, which we both know is highly controversial. Last year writeoffs as well as unvested options expensing is probably about as bad as it gets. This is one time when you can't use the rear view mirror to evaluate the pricyness of the mkt.

BTW Yardeni really isn't a friend of tech, I'm sure he would revise his forecasts if the fed model was inaccurate in his opinion.
