we're always hearing about Carter in that context. You want to fight that war, you'll have to fight it with someone else. Stagflation is a term I associate more with Nixon that Carter. Carter actually had integrity. A very rare attribute in the Oval Office. Unfortunately, he didn't have a clue when it came to foreign affairs. Had he understood The Game Of Nations better, he might be remembered as a great President. And Nixon understood what Carter didn't, but didn't even know the word "integrity" was in the dictionary. I was almost AWOL because of that. I had to draft trucks to get back home. AWOL??? That's a military acronym. You were in the military??? Absolutely nothing wrong with Project Head Start, though. Can't throw the baby out with the bathwater, can we? The people who insist on have the baby also insist on drowning it in bathwater. And wonder who others can be so cruel as to object.
