I have no problem with you continuing to invest on the greater fool theory; it may well work out well for you and I have done the same thing myself before. However, I think people would be well advised to understand the risk they are taking---that tech stocks will at sometime during their lifetime trade at or below their intrinsic values, which in my opinion are still generally much lower than what we see today. You know, the greater fools might run out of money or something, or they may decide in their infinite wisdom to undervalue tech stocks to the same extent that they overvalued tech stocks in year 2000. Or the FASB may require expensing of stock options and expose tech companies' inflated earnings scam. All kinds of things can go wrong. There isn't any margin of safety in investing in tech stocks today that one would have if they invested at or below intrinsic values.
