Lugar admitted he regretted that Bushies had gone back on the Clinton deal and made the Axis speech. He's a common sense expert who is not trying to be partisan, as you are. Fortunately he's also head of Senate Foreign Relations. Therefore his intelligence is much better than wherever you dig up your tripe. And Buchanon has never made more sense. We have troops in 70 countries now. We're talking about fighting two-three wars at a time. It's going too far and it's turning against us in terms of world opinion, cost and anxiety at home. we need to get unified and fix this country's problems. To do that, we need peace on earth. When Bush says he's going to war for peace dont' beleve him. He's already learned that war is his biggest hope of getting re-elected. As soon as war stops people look at his economy and his approvals drop sharply. Bush is ALL about getting re-elected. Nothing else matters nearly as much.
