I must say, I was playing GLW as a mid-term speculation. In the last year, since GLW doesn't look to be doing much, I really decided to move that money to XMSR, which I believe is on the brink of explosive growth and has a business model that can only be classified as a "cash cow" once it hits break even. So I've taken most of my speculation money (which was in GLW and AMSC) and put it in XMSR.

Actually, in the process of this exchange, I've decided what I want to buy next.......more of XMSR.....I agree with your analyze and have been buying for the past year, but also plan to buy a lot of additonal shares of biotechs like CRXA and ICOS that I think have the potential for a lot more upside.

I want my 401 to be mostly speculative in the hope of catching one of the new rising stars. I really don't see that old tech like JDSU and GLW will have the kind of future "explosive growth" that you noted may be in XMSR's outlook. I also plan to look more at internet companies. There is some interesting companies emerging out of the dust.
