Agree with the majority of what you wrote. The one wrinkle is the dollar. If it keeps declining there will come a point, who knows when, when interest rates will have to rise to protect foreign investment from leaving our shores. Sorry but I keep having nightmares of Jimmy Carter and stagflation rearing its ugly head in the future<g>.

I hope you're right about the GNMA, since I've been way over-weighted in those since Bob's call to reduce equity positions in Jan 2000. I'm a little hesitant about the TIPS too, with the likelihood of inflation so low.
