My best friend from high school was Weld's #3 guy and admitted they couldn't come up with anything on Kerry as hard as they tried. He was very frustrated by that race because Weld was the most popular strong Republican ever in Massachusetts and Kerry still beat him. They debated a record amount of times and both are fine debaters. Kerry was so strong there the GOP didn't even run anyone against him this last year. Kerry-haters in Massachusetts have already written two or three attempts at attacks, one refering to when Kerry was single claiming he told an aide to go tell a woman at a bar he wanted to speak to her (but he was single so what?). And another claiming he's arrogant, ambitious (who oisn't rujnning for president?) and unfriendly, which is certainly no longer true judging from the two times I've met him. In fact he seemed humble, warm, gracious and relaxed, gave me 10 minutes of semi-private conversation, which I really appreciated. Limbaugh has not been able to come up with anything except infantile criticisms of Kerry's hair. In fact, Kerry has very good hair and that's an asset. Bald or short candidates dont usually win. I challenged David Limbaugh to come up with anything on Kerry and he couldn't. He like weld's people seemed very frustrated. Watch them try to make stuff up though. Or delve into Kerry's first marriage where the woman reportedly had emotional problems. Big deal. This new article that Kerry is actually 1/4 Jewish might be seen as some kind of attack "dirt", though if true, but I dont think it will hurt him. Might even help him. But I'd like to see more on that other than from the one writer. It's really not even an issue since few of us are sure about our exact lineage. I could be 1/4 jewish and not know it. A lot of people could. As for the attacks on Kerry as high-class and from a blue blood background, Bush has him beat there. despite his name, Kerry didn';t inherit much money or influence. And he volunteered for combat where he took three bullets and saved his men killing an enemy with an RPG with his bare hands. Bush never risked his skin in his life.
