Prolife:

found this great website:

rinkworks.com

Got so fed up with AS's posts, now at least there's some genuine humor in them. For instance, the one you responded to :

Again, you only hate what you fear the most. Kerry makes Bush look like a mental, military and moral midget. And if Kerry runs with McCain, Bush will do about as well as Dole did. You cannot win with a trillion dollar deficit and four years of recession, especially when your only issue, military, is one your opponent (Kerry) takes away from you. I love watching the right-wing scramble to try and find something on Kerry to attack him with. There's almost nothing. Meanwhile Bush gives more ammunition to his opponents all the time. He's going down. The moderates always decide elections and they'll come down against Bush this time. Though I admit it will be a battle royale. And we can expect some kind of trickery from Bush, like the last time with their phony energy crisis and Florida vote cheating. But this time we're ready for him. and the media wont overlook it this time. Bush has gotten a free pass for a long time. But the deadline is 2004. No more. He'll have to run on his record, including two years of malaise with his party in control.

Becomes:

Again, you onwy hate what you feaw the most. Kewwy makes Bush wook wike a mentaw, miwitawy and mowaw midget. And if Kewwy wuns wif McCain, Bush wiww do about as weww as Dowe did. You cannot win wif a twiwwion dowwaw deficit and fouw yeaws of wecession, especiawwy when youw onwy issue, miwitawy, is one youw opponent (Kewwy) takes away fwom you. I wove watching the wight-wing scwambwe to twy and find something on Kewwy to attack him with. Dewe's awmost nothing. Meanwhiwe Bush gives mowe ammunition to his opponents aww the time. He's going down, uh-hah-hah-hah. De modewates awways decide ewections and they'ww come down against Bush this time. Dough I admit it wiww be a battwe woyawe. And we can expect some kind of twickewy fwom Bush, wike the wast time wif theiw phony enewgy cwisis and Fwowida vote cheating. But this time we'we weady fow him. and the media wont ovewwook it this time. Bush has gotten a fwee pass fow a wong time. But the deadwine is 2004. No mowe. He'ww have to wun on his wecowd, incwuding two yeaws of mawaise wif his pawty in contwow.

Cockney might be the best, changes his name to a septic tank spirit

Calls 'em as I sees 'em. Dont hate anyone. Have had civil debates with David Limbaugh and others you like. I dont insult them and they dont insult me. Sometimes we agree to disagree sometimes we learn something from each other. Very important to keep the debate civil. Name-calling never did anyone any good. I like having Republican friends.

You dont like what I'm revealing then ignore me. I haven't seen you post anything of merit, ever, just continous attempts at silly insults and black and white extremism. And if you are reallt pro-life (anti-abortion rights) then maybe it's time to study the other side of the picture. Ask women what they thinjk about their bodies. have some respect for them.

A tip. If you want to debate succesfully you have to be smart, literate, understanding, able to back it up with proof, mainstream proof preferably. This isn't a truck stop or a Jerry Falwell revival, these are educated people on these threads. No offence to truckers, but you know what I mean.

Your problem is, too often right-wing is just not right. The right-wing does what it can get away with even if the policies hurt the majority of people or the environment or our country's interests. Sometimes however they are right. In which case I usually side with them.

I prefer careful, centrist common sense views with a progressive forward-looking bias. Forward-looking because the past we can't do anything about. The future we can.
And right now our future does not look very bright. Priority number one, remove Bush and his neo-conservative handlers. They are okay on some issues but by in large they are jeopardizing peace and prosperity, which after all, are the two most important things in the world. despite 9-11, we don't have to over-react. We can keep it together. Coem to the center and maybe someday we'll agree on something.
