No actually, being in the zone is the quickest way to learn new things as well. Since thinking uses past experience IT is useless in novel situations. For instance that one in a million miracle shot by Woods that no one would even 'think' about practicing comes from pure presence... pure fresh creativity. Thinking getting involved under situations such as this is when 'choking' occurs... 'chocking' is thinking creating an 'anxiety gap'.

<That state comes after a long period of thinking, trying, practising and retrying - which is what Tiger Woods spends a LOT of time doing. We don't start out in the zone. >
