DEBRIS FIELDS AND UNANSWERED QUESTIONS

coug,

I share your concerns about the dichotomy in investigative styles between STS-102 and AA Flight 77. It's really scary to think that our government could really be so mendacious as to simply lie through their teeth, suppress investigations of the Pentagon incident and show next to nothing to the public regarding the 100 tons of debris that is missing.

Yet now we have the obscenity of a several hundred square mile section of the nation that is essentially shut down as some hidden bureaucratic committee decides on how to collect thousands of pieces of debris. It astonishes me that there is an almost religious (and crackpot) effort to avoid starting the collection of the debris. No purpose, other than the further disruption of the proper functioning of civil society, can be at the root of the intransigence to start picking up the pieces of this disaster and hauling them down to Barksdale.

Many of us are completely fed up with the agenda of this current mal-Administration and are trying to get our voices heard. Please consider joining with me in ending this national nightmare:

Indeed, the 9/11 investigation has yet to see just due. What do folks on the right side of the political spectrum think about this? Do you agree?

Coug, I think you raised a very good basic point for the issue. While the Bushies makes a very intensive and immediate investigation(rightly so) into the Columbia tragedy where 7 people died. But tried as hard as they can to block investigation into 9/11 where 3000+ American people lost their lives.

It's hard to think of a single reason to explain this except we know 9/11 investigation will have to investigate deeply into the American power house itself. While Columbia tragedy investigation doesn't need to.
