Shiloh... Just how do you get the Iraqi police to arrest Saddam? HE CONTROLS THEM, for Christ's sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pakistani police, to a large extent, remain loyal to the government, and opposed to the militants. Do I really have to explain this kind of stuff to you?? Are you really thinking it through, or merely trying to demagogue the issue?? The reason we're going after Saddam is because his WHOLE government is a criminal institution that threatens regional and global peace. We're trying to create a situation where democracy can replace totalitarianism. Pakistan's problems, on the other hand, lie in subversive political and militant factions trying to destroy what democracy still remains there... There totalitarianism is trying to replace democracy.
