The reason we're going after Saddam is because his WHOLE government is a criminal institution that threatens regional and global peace. We're trying to create a situation where democracy can replace totalitarianism.

Pakistan's problems, on the other hand, lie in subversive political and militant factions trying to destroy what democracy still remains there... There totalitarianism is trying to replace democracy.

BIG DIFFERENCE, requiring DIFFERENT strategies!!!
