I feel better now, having finally gotten to what bugs me the most about this invasion. Good, I am glad the "Burping" worked. :>) Here are the answers to the questions you raised. We will kill Iraqis who try to kill us when we take the place. We have told the various Generals to keep their troops in the barracks and we won't harm them. We will kill or imprison Saddam and and any of his Thugs who try to kill us, or resist arrest. We will install a Military Government headed by General Franks, to sort out the rest. We will then provide security for Iraq while they sort out what sort of Government they want. All this has been in articles printed in our papers over the last couple of months. You really cannot expect every "T" to be crossed and "I" dotted at this point. As we discussed earlier, We will never have these points all "Right" before we go. That is not reality. You make a decision to do it, do it, and take care of the details as they arise.

How many Iraqis, and who exactly, will need to be killed before we have achieved our aims? As compared to how many Iraqi lives have been lost due to NOT ridding the country of Saddam and his reign of terror??? Or do you not care about those who have ALREADY DIED.. and will likely DIE IN THE FUTURE should we leave him in place?? What about those who could possibly DIE ENMASSE should Saddam obtain nuclear weapons and realize his goal of becoming the leader of the Arab world?? Would you have appeased Hitler at Munich, had you possessed only a small hint of what he would unleash upon Europe and Russia?? People who don't take into account what the repercussions of INACTION might be is something that has been "nagging" me about these anti-war demonstrators.. We do what we did to Noreiga. We hunt him down and either kill him, or capture, try, and execute him.. But it AIN'T going to be a "police operation", like you assert it should be.. Hawk
