Bush has no plan to pay off the deficits. He states we can "grow" out of it, but what he really means is let the next president(s) worry about it. We didn't grow out of the Reagan deficits, Bush Sr. and Clinton had to raise taxes to pay them off. Only then did the economy boom again.

For now, everyone gets a chicken in their pot, especially the wealthy, and no way he's going to back down. So we're stuck with the Bush deficits and the accompanying recessions and battered markets. Until another leader comes along with the guts to tell it like it is and let us know it's not just our money, it's our debt. And debt kills markets, the dollar and a healthy economy. The real problem is 10-15 years from now when all at once the Baby Boomers retire and want their SS and Medicare. My Dad used $30,000 in medicare in just one month recently for cancer drugs etc. Just think of the numbers. I see a major train-wreck coming unless we get Bush out of office ASAP and resist him while he's in. He DOES respond to polls, very definitely, so that's the best way. let your voice be heard.
