To: stockman_scott who wrote (12494 ) 2/3/2003 4:04:53 PM From: Jim Willie CB Read Replies (7) | Respond to of 89467 Jackass movie review: "The Recruit" with Al Pacino this movie is another chance for Colin Farrell to gain exposure I dont think young Colin shaved for a single scene in this flick but let us not forget that luscious Bridget Moynahan (hotty) complete exposure of this lithe beauty would not be enough to suit me (one must do justice to the senses of touch, smell, taste) I will not give away anything that would ruin your show the byline of this movie is clearly NOTHING IS AS IT SEEMS Pacino is a recruiter for the CIA, who can be warm, provocative, and cold both Colin and Bridget are recruits to the CIA, Colin for his keen internet destination detection security skill, Bridget for her language skills (was that really Farsi?) and riveting beauty the plot steers from one stressful sequence to another, leaving the audience wondering what is real the two have an encounter early in the show, which Colin attempts to develop but what is real? is her responsiveness real? does she regard his advances as real? is she working with the bad guys? is she being played as working with the bad guys? a shower scene dissapoints, as expected in a PG-13 film lovely Bridgett lets the robe fall, but only offers a naked back, thus confirming the need for perhaps 10 more lbs of soft tissue what a truly gorgeous young woman, who has made a transition from a CoverGirl to television and then again to the movies she was Mr. Big's estranged wife on "Sex in the City" an incredibly lovely face, wonderful eyes, and full moist lips only a quick eye can garner enough pixels for a rush when she exits a bed from slumber ooh la la the plot is fluid, gripping, provoking, and well done the training scenes are simply clever, well done the casting is credible with young recruits not enough other CIA characters are involved, in my opinion though the tech gizmos are somewhat cool the ending was an excellent set of unexpected scenes what I enjoyed was that Al Pacino did not overact he was in my view the second star, not the lead star but that is what gets people to purchase movie tickets this movie stars Colin and Bridget, whose lips were parted the entire 90 minutes Colin Farrell appears in his biggest role to date his previous roles have been in the WW2 "Hart's War" as prison camp lawyer with Bruce Willis, in the sci-fi thriller "Minority Report" as the boss of Tom Cruise Bridget Moynahan appears in her biggest role to date her previous roles have been in the romantic comedy "Serendipity" as a stood-up bride with John Cusack, in Clancy's "Sum of All Fears" as a patient girlfriend of badly miscast Ben Affleck, in another bit role romantic comedy "Coyote Ugly" I would like to see this hotty add about 10 lbs, then appear in a steamy love affair romantic movie a solid "A minus" from a guy who rarely gives "A" grades this film will win nothing from Oscar Night / jim
