GW and Jeb Bush cheated in Florida and robbed the White House. I have posted that evidence from gregpalast.com. The press ignored it at the time simply because Jeb Bush's office denied it. But Jeb's office lied. Soon after (too late to change the election) the Jebsters were sued by the NAACP and made an out of court settlement, at issue 57,700 voters in 2000 and 94,000 in 2002 struck from the Florida rolls just because they had the same names as felons. John Jackson, Jose Ramirez, etc. Many common names dozens of people share. However, the vast majority were not those felons at all, and by Florida law out of state felons ARE allowed to vote. Therefore it was illegal to take, for example, 8000 similar names as felons from Texas (wonder whose offices arranged that) off their rolls. Those 8000 alone, which the GOP-linked consultants Bush hired later admitted were a "mistake" to remove, would have decided the election for Gore. And remember, most were not actual felons at all, just similar names. The NAACP settlement makes this illegal for the Bushies to do this again, but they may try it anyway. Reportedly the same consulting company is at work weeding out voters in many key states. Such voter fraud in a close election makes all the difference. The entire history of the world may hinge upon it when it's the US Presidency at stake. You may support Bush but if you support voter fraud like this, you're on the wrong side of the argument. In 2004, I for one am going to make sure the media is on top of these things. I'll work on that if I see the eviednce that it is happening. "We are ready for it" means not only watching for voter fraud but for all the phoy campaign promises that Bush broke, many of which you heard in the State Of The Union address. All Presidents BS some in the SOTU but Bush has promised us everything under the stars and the numbers dont add up at all. There is simply no way he can afford the things he's promising us. And many of the promises were in fact camouflage to conceal what he's really doing, like the "Healthy Forests" plan I noted. "Healthy Forests" has little to do with precenting forest fires. Mostly it's deregulation of the timber industry with the added caveat that citizens groups will not be allowed to sue to protect forests anymore. This is why concerned citizens have to be on guard, and not just Democrats.
