<< i understand the mainstream media just fine thank you. it's run by a bunch of jews who are anti-american. >>

A very confused and bigoted statement. You would do better in a communist, or fascist, country, where the government controlled ALL the news. Then you could have all of the news spoon feed to you, and you would probably believe all of it.

America's mainstream news is not controlled by the government. It is rather controlled by the people. It is ratings that drives the news. Any major news that is considered unpatriotic would suffer tremendous criticism, and advertisers would leave in droves.

America's news resources are the freest and best in the world, and the most accountable. If you want to credit this wonderful achievement on the small number of Jews in this country, be my guest. It is quite a compliment. But, there are also many Christians, and Atheists, who are also responsible for giving America the best news that there is.

Why is it I feel that I am wasting my time explaining the obvious to you? <g>

"The report said a fledgling alliance foundered due to ideological differences between the militant Islamic group and the secular nationalist regime."
