I have a friend who is the computer security officer for a $1 B / year business unit of a Fortune 500 company. I told him about your little trick. It was unethical in his opinion too and since you didn't disclose that you were redirecting the DNS for some cheesy *.cx domain to your personal laptop, thought it was a tad suspicious and unfriendly. And he hasn't seen your posts. But maybe you have more experience than him too. Can you name anyone that isn't a "technology boob" in your humble opinion?
