to me it wasn't about an affair, it was about how he handled it and acted after the affair came to light

I don't think it was the 'other' party that brought him down, although I certainly think they enjoyed watching his demise - it was the news media who chase every blip on the horizon and Clinton apparently had many questionable activities - once those questionable activities had come into the light, once Clinton tried to dodge them and there was a question of some activities being illegal, they had to be investigated

and actually your point about Republicans, but I say all politicians who are married and nookie'ng around, more goes to the point of them NOT wanting affairs exposed

it's definitely the press that dogs these stories
