to me it wasn't about an affair, it was about how he handled it and acted after the affair came to light I don't think it was the 'other' party that brought him down, although I certainly think they enjoyed watching his demise - it was the news media who chase every blip on the horizon and Clinton apparently had many questionable activities - once those questionable activities had come into the light, once Clinton tried to dodge them and there was a question of some activities being illegal, they had to be investigated and actually your point about Republicans, but I say all politicians who are married and nookie'ng around, more goes to the point of them NOT wanting affairs exposed it's definitely the press that dogs these stories btw, you could give me public life
