I actually thought about that while I was writing. It would only be allegations, after all. If he had been judged guilty of murder, he wouldn't have run. So should we stop government to let the leader of our country be tried for murder? I don't know. It's an interesting question. It might be totally the wrong thing to do- depending on what sorts of external threats we are facing. It's not silly at all- if you are looking at it with a view to try to figure out what is best for the country.
