AS Re..Carlyle recently bought a major bank in South Korea. Reportedly, Bush Sr. called Junior after the NK fiasco started and told him to cool it.

Do you have a link to show George Sr, called because he was worried about his profits; or is this more of your bad mouth gossip.

He knew rattling NK's cage was not smart and invited disaster. Same point of view expressed by Dick Lugar and many others in the Republican party who are not neo-conservative super hawks (ie: chickenhawks).

We will see who loses the most in the end. Gw has already gotten his SDI started with nary a whisper form the dems. And my bet is China will come down against NK, plus if the US has to start aid again, NK will have to reciprocate in kind on its nuclear program. And SK Roh, won't be so quick to diss US troops in SK, as SK is once again under the gun, and looking at the US to bail them out again. And you do know, Kim LL dissed Roh's representatives, and Roh's sunshine policy initiatives. just like KIm ll is accusing the US of doing to NK. Don't be too surprised if the US comes out of this at least even up, with KImLL and Roh the losers.
