I usually lose when I jump onto someone else's trade. I think the reason is that I don't understand the reasoning behind it and even if good reasoning, I don't know what watch for or when to jump off.

Best to follow your own muse. Even if it's wrong, if you pay attention to its mistakes it will improve.

Oh, yes. I'm not jumping onto a hot momo stock from another thread. I'm betting AGAINST them.

Just noticed on the AMEX options site
amex.com
that the 5 most active options are QQQ, MSFT, RX, CSCO, and RMBS in that order. And RMBS calls are a whole lot more popular than puts.
