res-"How many Iraqis, and who exactly, will need to be killed before we have achieved our aims?"

The answer is simply that no one knows. It will be left to our military to decide, based on the strategies of winning the battle and keeping our soldiers as safe as possible.

If you call it a diatribe, what observations do you consider lengthy and a waste of time. They seemed quite short to me.

I'd suggest you should call your own post. #reply-18527112 a diatribe by your own logic.

The simple answer is always, whatever it takes to win. I know extreme care will be taken to do only as much as is required.

And suggesting that

"The best manner to handle it is through dogged police work and special operations... Putting an army in there would accomplish nothing.."

is just plain dumb.
