If you are asking me personally why I am focused on X, then I am confused. I have posted to a variety of persons on the thread related to the topics of the thread, from the weather to Afghanistan, and was doing that long before X showed up. X is the only person who has focused the interaction on being personal. I have only responded to her repeated insistence that it is.

Someone else pointed out that I was the only person who would respond to this absurd cajoling in a respectful way. I note, that you seem to have been respectful as well, as have others. If you look back to the post where X began making a broken record accusation, you will note that she was responding to a post in which I had offered an opinion of substance to the topic of discussion.

There were also personal comments. There just about always are. X had her own reasons (who knows?) for focusing on the personal instead of the substantial. If I were to venture a guess, it would be that she knows I will not simply ignore this kind of gambit and she hopes to draw attention to "HER ISSUE" through my responses.

That is if you are asking why I focus on X. I don't think I do. I think X uses posters in a gambit to draw a focus on her that is neither substantive or topical except for the topic of the "X persona." It has happened too many times to think otherwise.

If you are asking why people in general are starting to focus on X, I would say that is your naivete showing through.
