Yes I know what I meant, and Neo paraphrased it well. Now as to what you think I think I know who can say? But if it is anything like what you said, you are wrong. I never said people couldn't get it into their heads that this is "real," and that this is "personal"- I have merely always expressed a certain degree of surprise that people would make the choice to view things that way. I can give innumerable examples of people making things personal- but I don't understand why anyone would want to take things personally. There doesn't seem to be any benefit in that. Maybe it's like religion- and there is a benefit I am simply not wired to understand. Or, alternately, maybe some people are just self destructive.
