Bush, himself, has distorted and I'm sure keeps himself swamped with plausible deniability. Essentially, what I think happens is media supportive to Bush's agenda gets its talking points and the lies spread from there. I suppose one of the greatest examples is that Saddam "kicked" the former UN weapons inspection team out of the country.

It's plain not true.

Another great example is when it was convenient to drum up American support we were told over and over that we had Turkey to the north and the Saudis to the south. Talk about hostage-taking? Both of those nations are literally being blackmailed in one form or another, or bribed, in order to support the Bush offensive.

How'd Bush get Congress on board for the pro-war Iraqi congressional Resolution? Aluminum tubes meant to build up an Iraqi nuclear program of weapons of mass destruction. No matter how much Bush, et. al. attempt to distort that this is true, worldwide nuclear experts say it is not. If valid information were available at the time, I don't think that resolution would have passed. However, remember that vote was timed to mirror the US congressional elections.

I'm sick of it and every American should be as well!
