Re hitler ;the Us shares the blame with europe in allowing hitler to rise.look to the treaty of versaille, world finance and lack of support of the league of nations.
Also the isrealies enjoy a huge tech advantage over the palastinians, look were it is getting them.
with regard to support, there was a huge amount of support,as a matter of fact there is a contingent of italian troops now in afghanastan.however we alienated much of the world in our one sided support of isreal.but as you say most people do not care about what does not affect them immidiately, and palastine does not affect americans immidiately.
also the term treasonous slander is hardly a worthy comment except comming from somebody who supports a totalitarian state.

Hitler took his armies and moved into neighboring countries which he claimed belonged to Germany. Saddam did the same.

Hitler attacked without provocation.
Hussein did not.
Iran and Iraq were feuding for years over many things. Whether or not he was justified or not is another matter. Same story with Kuwait. In fact he even asked the US about Kuwait and his assumption (based on stupid replies he received at the time) was we did not care. He was not out to conquer the world, or exterminate the jews or get rid of anyone out of pure hate. An enormous difference.

Hitler selected ethnic minorities and dissidents for torture and extermination. Saddam has done the same.

Hitler killed out of pure hate. Saddam tortured perceived enemies. A big difference.

Hitler gassed his own people. Saddam has done the same.
Absolutely INCORRECT! The gas that killed the kurds was a type of gas that Iran used. Hussein mass gassing Kurds is an urban legend. Our own govt reports say so.

Hitler attempted to develop weapons of mass destruction. Saddam has done the same.

OK - So do we. So does North Korea. So does China and Russia. ONLY the US has threatened to use them first RECENTLY and only the US has ever used them.

Hitler was a maniac and so is Hussein.
Agreed, but there are dozens of others equally as bad.

You are only going to hear what you want to mishedlo. When Powell presents the evidence the majority will believe and the malcontents will bitch and moan. Face it, you already know everything. You know that Bush is in this for the oil. What a joke! We could have taken the oil any time we wanted to. That isn't how we operate and never has been.

LMAO look at the post that Powell himself says there is no smoking gun!

Was it wrong? Only to someone who can Monday morning quarterback.

Nope: said so at the time.

<<I think Bush is a liar gun slinging cowboy, owned by big oil and big banks.>>

And I think your comment is treasonous slander. If it weren't for the laws of this great country which allow you to say such drivel, you would be behind bars or, if in Iraq, in the Bath torture chambers....

I am thankful you are not in charge and that I am free to say what I want. Therefore it is not treasonous slander.

I think Bush is a liar
I think with help from Jeb he stole the election
I think he is owned by big business
I think he is for sale to anyone who will help him get reelected
I think he dishonorably avoided military service
I think he is a reckless war monger

We are far from perfect. But there still isn't a more God fearing or civilized country in the world. We still send out over 60% of the world foreign aid. We still respond to emergencies everywhere with zeal and compassion. When we are no longer able, or willing, who will pick up the slack?

I agree 100% with your statements and questions here.
