I agree that simple forward selling is not all that bad -- it's the deriviative biz that is really bad -- selling calls. All the commodities producers hedge -- its hedging multiyear production that seems very unwise to me at this pt in time --

Bull$h*t....DROOY earned 0.12/sh for the latest quarter, despite the effect of the mighty Rand. BTW, if I own assets in a country where their currency is rising relative to mine, what does that do to their book value in my currency?

GG and GLG are overvalued, no argument there.
