There are so many childless couples that want more than anything to experience the joy of parenting. Adoption is great and so are daughters. I actually get along better with my daughter than I do with my son. The reverse is true for my wife and son. I've heard that this is not uncommon. I think the situation for baby-girls in the third-world is abominable and not much better for women. The disparity in the ratio of males to females in the third-world does not bode well for the future. I strongly suspect this will give rise to female slavery and abduction of women in the West. * * *
