All this is very nice... but between Al Qaeda and their various supporters we are facing some pretty tough customers. To me, those quotes, taken collectively, say that we tend to make our own bed by our actions along the way. A warlike nation will tend to have eternal war. A nation that distributes weapons freely will see those weapons pointed at itself someday. A nation that encourages other nations to war amongst themselves will pave the way for future aggression against itself.
