Well, there are ways to learn about P&F.

www.dorseywright.com has a P&F tutorial and Tom Dorsey is pretty much the mucky muck when it comes to P&F.

www.stockcharts.com also has a P&F tutorial right here

And the guy that wrote the P&F stuff for stockharts is right here on SI. His name is Atin and he is now associated with Teresa Lo and Trendvue.

And then there is this thread. There are a number of people here who have been looking at the Xs and Os for upwards of 6 years.

I recommend checking out both stockcharts and dorseywright and then if you have questions, come on the thread and ask. One thing is that I don't always follow conventional interpretations of P&F charts, but I do know what the convetional interpretations would be.
