Re: POG action and the war

I also expect that POG will not go down when the war starts. The war is simply immaterial at this point. Just a bit of noise and an easy excuse for rising POG. Gold does NOT need this war.

The gold story continue to be dismissed by media and so-called investment community. My take is that some of them are simply ignorant and don't understand gold. The smart ones are busy unloading garbage stocks like techs and financials while quietly accumulating gold.

I still think that this Spring will be BIG for juniors and good time for taking some profits.

Speaking about leverage, my collection is quite impressive.

PS. Funny, the gold-will-not-go-down camp is getting crowded.:-)

The line on the chart is straight enough for me. I have my core position and add to it when the stocks "suck". I am not waiting for the herd to jump in because IMVHO, it will be too late- stocks will fly up too fast. If the 375 does not wake people up, perhaps 400 will. If not that perhaps the 1Q results of certain companies. I do not believe that gold is only moving because of the war- I believe that it is also moving because it is being hoarded as money once again.

Well said. Although very bullish for the last year, most of the traders on the SD2 thread have been bailing out because the gold stocks aren't "acting well." They seem to be waiting for the pull-back to $330 POG that is being "signalled." The gold market is sure great at shaking out the maximum number of players. /Kit
