I've just started Arianna Huffington's excellent "Pig at the Trough". I didn't realize that she's got a master's degree in economics from King's College, Cambridge. She relates the battle of the Keynesians and the Monetarists this way. In one of her freshman lectures, the professor cleared up any confusion: "Milton Friedman simply doesn't understand Keynesian economics."
