Dear ET: My understanding is the whole tax package works out to 1,100 per person, for sure it appears to me a couple in the 40-50k bracket totally is going to save something like that. However, you asked about just dividends, frankly, I dont have a strong feeling on this. I personally would have FAR PREFERRED the ELIMINATION of Capital Gains taxes. However, I do watch the business channels on T/V and almost every economist, analyst or whatever IST is on seems to feel the Dividend tax elimination is going to be good for America. Whats good for America is eventually, one way or another gonna be good for ME. I can't be worried if joe blow gets more then I get, especially if joe blow paid in more to start then I did. jdn
