Ditto!! The Germans adored Adolf Hitler and never thought he could do such evil. Even as Hitler reorganized the entire German government in the 30's and consolidated power to himself until he was a dictator the people had full faith in him. And we all know the rest of that story. Now who is re-organizing government to bring more power to himself. The similarities are frightening. Just as Hitler played on the hopes and fears of his people so it is happening again today. And nobody sees the repeat of history.
