They claim revenues and earnings popped up 25% but then forecast lower revenues and flat earnings for next quarter and people bid the junk up higher. Why such growth now but flat to lower going forward. Two things jump in mind when I read this, either they channel stuffed this quarter and have to let it work it's way through next quarter or else they plan on prices going so much lower in the future that they will sell more boxes but not make any more in sales or earnings. Either way, I don't see this as bullish BWDIK. =================================== All this talk of an "event" this weekend had me thinking this morning. I just don't see it happening. Why would a terrorist want to strike us right now? What would be gained vs what would be lost? They may be lunatics but they aren't stupid. Right now there is a major rift in the UN as the US wants to take out Saddam and France along with Germany want to wait. Even those with us like the UK have people that are against war, including our own population here in the US. If there was a terrorist event against the US, we would then have a swing of sentiment towards the US official position and we would have enough justification to strike. It would bring everyone back together with the US and rid the world of the disconnect of ideals of the major powers. Here at home, many citizens are becoming quickly disgruntled with Bush as they view this as a war for oil and not for terror. A terrorist event now would bring back the pro US anti terror views of Sept 11 and give us license to open a can of Whoop Ass for months and years to come as it would prove that Bush was right and "how dare we doubt his wisdom." Everyone would be saying, we were wrong before and he is right so let's just go along with the wars against Saddam, Iran, Kenya, Angola etc etc etc. American people are still scared enough right now buying up every available roll of duct tape, plastic sheeting and markets drop every time there is a rumor of an event or war fears/uncertainty resurface. They have this country's citizens confused as it is without striking again. There is no reason to change that and tip their hand in a strike until we as Amercicans relax and try to get back to normal again. I just see nothing to gain in doing a terrorist strike now and every reason to sit back and let the disarray in work now run it's course. They have us chasing our tails and have let a world of chaos loose. Only if the World powers kiss and make up, Americans go back to normal and stock markets start rising would I see a justifiable reason to strike us again, viewing this as OBL would. Right now, they have the US, the UN and world sentiment in a self destructive state of disarray. Their mission has been accomplished and all that could happen by striking again now would be to undo that self destructive behavior and bring the world back to a common goal and hurt their brother Muslums. I say they don't do anything else for a long time. They have us injuring ourselves now without firing another shot. Mission accomplished. Good Luck, Lee
