> Talking silver - photo industry increase usage despite explosion of digital cameras

Don't have 2002 numbers yet, but recent photographic demand
could only be called flat near the 200moz per year level

95=210.9 96=212.0 97=219.0 98=225.0 99=225.9 00=219.5 01=210.2

The analogy I would make is postal mail versus email.
The post office has not gone away but volumes have gone
flat while much of the new growth has been in email.

Digital photography is not going to eliminate silver
use in photography, but could hinder further growth.

The flip side is that whle film sales are down the sale of
photographic print paper is up (prints from digital cameras)

> copper is coming as world will go electric.

Nickel and PGMs may be even more interesting
in an electric fuel cell future.
