["Slider you are full if it Calling what I said BS"]

...I didn't call what you said "BS" or even question what you said ? I made a very rare self-deprecating reference to basing my own trading on "BS" vs P&F (vbg).

But, to clarify a bit further - I do think P&F is "BS".

If PF, or any other form of TA was more reliable than monkeys throwing darts - we'd have IBM Mainframe's running TA Programs and 95% of all the Money Managers on Wall St would be out of business and would be replaced by computers running specific TA Programs.

The primary value in TA (besides entertainment value)is that many people use & follow it's varied systems and you can trade the traders(anticipate vs. react)on how they trade the technicals.

Obviously when a stock, or index is on a run up, or is in meltdown; P&F, Stoch's, MACD's, Willams %R,OBV, Bollinger Bands etc - are pretty damn good at reflecting the obvious after the fact... what they continually fail to do; is consistantly indicate livetime turns - exact sell signals at tops, or exact buy signals at bottoms in "real" time vs. after the fact indications....and if they were accurate; everyone would be buying & selling at the same time - now wouldn't they (vbg) ?

TA is interesting...doesn't work on its own; if it did - obviously the Magellan Fund, or the Vanguard Index Funds wouldn't be the largest funds - the XYZ P&F fund, or ABC Stoch Fund would be...
